Description: Over the past couple of years, visual testing has been gaining increased attention from the dev/test community as evident by the explosion of related open source projects. In this talk you will learn what visual testing is and why it should be automated. We will take a deep dive into some of the challenges involved with visual test automation and show how modern tools address them. We will review available open-source and commercial Selenium-based visual testing tools, and show how visual test automation fits in the development / deployment lifecycle.
Bio:
Adam started programming when he was 8 and is passionate about all aspects of software development and testing. He is the Co-founder and VP R&D of Applitools - a company delivering a visual testing cloud service. He dedicates most of his time to developing image comparison algorithms and making large scale visual testing a reality.
