Sarndeep and Manish will be doing the talk and it will be on "Automating .NET client side applications have been notoriously difficult, and normally meant using propriety tools. We will share or experiences in implementing automation using SpecFlow and a 100% open source library!"
Sarndeep Nijjar
Sarndeep is QAWorks' Delivery Director. An automation and BDD practitioner with over 10 years of experience. Having worked largely for agile mature media clients, such as the BBC, Sky and Channel 4, he is currently focused on to taking his open source agile learnings into the corporate banking and trading world.
Manish Wadhwani
Manish is QAWorks' Software Development Director. With a multitude of skills acquired over 9 year of professional experience Manish has seen it all. Manish has architected, developed solutions and provided services, such as requirements analysis, design, estimation, project management, leadership and testing/quality assurance. He specializes in Software Engineering, C#.NET and SQL Server. Manish is currently working with BP developing a platform that is used to host WinForms and WPF applications used by traders and operators.

Details :
Currently working in Expedia as Sr. Test Automation Engineer for the past 5 years, guiding all teams on the best practices of UI automation (using Ruby,Scala(Test)), trying various new technologies for parallelization, cross browser and mobile test automation. Last couple of years gave him lots of opportunities in his current role to work on improving reliability of UI automation, parallelize the tests using AWS and find ways to store and produce nice reports that helps teams to get down to failure causes quickly! Ragavan likes open source tools and have contributed to them in the form of bug fixes: TLB (Test Load Balancer), Cucumber, SeleniumGridScaler, Selenium-Webdriver, SimLauncher, etc.
