Talk One: Selenium Automation Framework at Busuu
Speaker: Karthika Arun

In this session you will see how the testing team at busuu has developed an automation framework using Java and Selenium.The complete flow of the framework will be explained, also will demonstrate how the framework is integrated with jenkins to facilitate CI for a smooth development process.

Talk Two: Selenium IDE is back! Can codeless testing scale?

Moshe Milman (co-founder of AppliTools) is coming over to London to talk about the new Selenium IDE.

Description:
Test automation folklore is full of horror stories of failed attempts to apply record-playback tools to perform UI-based functional testing. In this talk, we’ll take an objective look at record-playback tools and compare them with programming-based automation tools in order to evaluate their applicability to functional and visual test automation. During the meetup we will cover hands-on demos of the new Selenium IDE, review some of its new capabilities and go over the latest open source and commercial tools and trends in that space to help answer this question and see whether it can actually scale.

Moshe is the Co-Founder of Applitools – a cloud service for automated Visual Testing. As part of his role at Applitools, he helps dozens of companies across the industry implement state of the art test automation suites. Moshe is passionate about Software Testing and frequently give talks about it in various conferences around the globe.
