Woodland Wicca - Full Moon Ritual & Magical social (Sept'15)

Details
These Wicca Full moon Ritual gatherings are ideal for people interested in Wicca & Witchcraft. They provide a sound Introduction to Wicca, Witchcraft & Ritual Magic - for all new comers and beginners, and serious Seekers of The Craft. Consisting of friendly and informal introductions, they then move on to a formal Wiccan Ritual - facilitated by Mani (experienced Wiccan High Priest)

Event outline / what to expect---
We meet at 4pm at the Bus stop `S' / Fountain area. Then go into woods together, find our spot an set up temporary cover/camp/ altar area..
There will be pre-ritual socialising/ chats & preparations. When all is ready, we'll do a ritual run-through (going through print outs, explaining what happens in ritual, who is taking what parts etc). And ritual will commence. No exact time can be given as this process is magical and entirely organic. Remember this is a magical event... How it evolves is dependant on all the people present and the energies everyone adds! After ritual, we close circle, and continue with cakes/ wine, feasting (bring food & drinks!) and socialising in candle-lights.. At this point anyone wishing to go early may leave..Others usually stay and chat/ socialise / make friends..and more plans for other rituals :-)
Come in with an open and trusting mind.. Be Willing to free flow..and magic happens!!

What food/ drinks to bring --------
Wiccans enjoy feasting after ritual. So please consider bringing Food & drinks to share at the feasting. Suggestions (just one item per person will do):
-Wine / soft drinks / water
- Coffee / soup in flask (useful in winter time)
-Fruits/ snacks
- Bread / butter/ dips / cheese
What magical items to bring / wear -----
• Bring any magical item(s) you like to place on altar. (your athame, wands, crystals..)
• Remember that people do take personal photos of the altar.. so if you do't want your magical tool/ item to be photographed, don't put it on altar.
• You may bring a robe/ cloak and wear it for ritual
• Flower crowns/ ivy crowns/ other crowns
--Weather & what to wear (take this seriously)-------
These Ritual/ training circles take place in public Woodlands or parks. We are outdoors, at the mercy of elements (sunshine, storms, snow, fog etc).. *
PLEASE DRESS REALLY APPROPRIATELY FOR ALL KINDS OF WEATHER Trust me when I say...it gets cold after a while.. no matter how bright or sunny it might start. The weather can change quickly. You can not be magical or enjoy these if you are cold..and suffering.. So take my advise seriously (I have 12 years of working rituals outdoors)***
Good water-proof coats, proper boots/ shoes / trainers..that are not going to get soaked in mud/ rain. Gloves, scarf. hats; possibly a bag/ ruck sack to put all your belonging and set aside (on the ground, when doing ritual).
** You can bring a ritual robe/ cloak and slip it on top just before ritual starts**
By being outdoors in nature regularly in a ritual setting, you'll develop a real magical / psychic attunement & healthy respect to nature's wild energies, as well as an inner confidence, outdoor ritual experience and dare I say.. empowerment and magical competence... on top of learning/ practising Witchcraft & wicca in the natural wild way it is intended.
--What wiccan tradition? -------------
No specific focus will be given to any Gardnerian/ Alexandrian/ Cochrane initiatory traditions. But useful aspects of those may be incorporated. These rituals aim to forge a more natural /primal witchcraft ..with additional aspects like correspondences (colours, oils, planets), arch angel work, both low and high magical aspects, as well as hedgewitchery.
--Training circles --
These are training circles / rituals. What that means is that introduction & explanations of many aspects of the ritual are given through out, and you'll be given opportunities to take certain minor or major roles in the ritual. Major roles will need preparation and learning beforehand, so will be offered to those attending regularly and training with this group.
If you attend these regularly, you can build up a sound practical experience of all aspects of Wicca & Witchcraft. Remember it is traditional for new Seekers to be trained for a year and a day in Wicca - before undergoing any Coven initiations.
On a personal level, You may use that as a sensible yard stick, and aim for a year worth of ritual attendance, study and exploration - to become a self-sufficient Wiccan. Along the way, you will either develop your own magical / psychic skills, or fine tune any existing abilities.
Attending or training within multiple groups/ covens:
Wicca training must be with the `same group/coven' as each has its own ways.. Serious Covens generally do not accept Seekers attending/training at multiple groups at the same time.. That is not the way to building a Group mind, trust & loyalty within a group! Only exception will be if a member has attended a coven and then my consultation, `transfers' to a related/sister/daughter coven of the original one. And once the `move' has been magically formalised, the member can not then keep attending the previous one..
