Woodland Samhain 2023 - Seasonal Ritual

SAMHAIN - the Pagan seasonal festival for honoring our ancestral spirits, seek wisdom from the spirits in the veil between worlds ! Our Outdoor Samhain is particularly intense ! As evening falls, there is an eeriness that also becomes apparent.. Once at the ritual space, you will be immediately involved in the ritual - the burning away of your regrets in the Cauldron of Cerridwen, the calling of the DarkLord for opening gateway that we may communing with ancestors, and invocation of Hecate & ReBirth chant for personal guidance & transformation!

This is an open ritual held in an outdoor park/woods with easy public access.. Out ritual Team will conduct the ceremony, with plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved in the actual ritual.

Fee:
Regulars £7 / Standard £10.
fees collected at the start of the ceremony. Pls bring cash.

Venue: Queen's Wood, High Gate.
These events are held in a public Open woods, with rough terrain, and in natural weather conditions .

Meeting point & arrival etiquette:

• Gather at The entrance to Queen's Woods. (Queenswood Road, N6 5UU).

• Please plan your journey in advance by checking for train/bus timetables, google map for location etc. Late arrivals and last minute enquiries create delays in ritual.
• Please do not come to ritual spot, while team is preparing. We prefer to meet everyone together by the road entrance to Woods and process you to ritual spot when we have set up altar etc. thanks.

What to bring:-

• sensible warm water proof coat/ shoes/clothing
• Torch light for safe walking in woods at night
• small ground sheet/ blanket to sit on for social.
• Your ritual cloths/ robes/ cloaks
• Staff / wands / antlers / tribal masks
• Drums & musical instruments
• Lanterns / candles
• Your own Cups/chalice to drink from
• Food / drinks to share
