*Central* Creative Writing Workshop (with Lisa)

In these fiction writing workshops, we have 3 writers reading their work aloud for editorial feedback, advice and encouragement. You're very welcome to come along to listen as you'll not be asked to contribute to the group feedback until you decide to do so. Most writers come along to a few sessions before offering feedback, commenting or requesting to read. Observe first and contribute whenever you want to, that's completely all right by us. You'll be surprised by how much you can learn by listening to others' work and feedback.

For people reading, pieces must be 3,000 words or less as you'll have 15mins reading time and 15mins of group feedback (30mins total) and all discussion is moderated by your host. We ensure that all writing feedback is constructive and respectful and we've been running these workshops as a safe place for writers since 2006.

If you'd like to read, please post a comment below. Spots are given on a first ask, first given basis with a couple of reserve spots. You must have booked your place before making a request to read.

If you are reading, please bring 7-10 copies of your pages so members can make additional editing notes for you during the reading. Please notify us by commenting below if you have to pull out of reading after your place has been confirmed. Pulling out too many times may result in us refusing your next request to read.

NOTE: Refunds will only be provided if the meetup is cancelled by us. No exceptions. We cannot offer credit for another session if you decide not to attend on the day. Please change your status to NOT GOING if you no longer plan to attend. We often have people on the waiting list and we'd hate for them to miss out.
