Farewell 2025! Join the Social Merriment

Shall we gather for a festive drink or two to see out another year of writing workshops? I think so.

We'll be at the Sutton Arms EC1 (near Barbican) from 6:30pm for a few hours to wave goodbye to 2025, kick up our heels, and enjoy lots of writer-ly conversation over a few drinks and nibbles. I hope we will see you there.

These free event nights are always a good opportunity to connect with other writers you've met along the way this year, moan about writing, and meet any new members who come along to introduce themselves.

Please stop by if you can and bring a friend if you'd feel more comfortable. We're all very friendly but I know that it can be a bit daunting. Everyone is welcome. I've booked a table that we can stand around. Usually there are 10-15 writers who attend these social dos.

NO SHOWS: please, please change your RSVP to 'Not going' if you're plans change and you can't be there after all for some reason. I need to know the numbers to make enough space. Hosting free events takes work even if I'm not charging for it and good manners cost nothing.
