Welcome Lone Stars,
We had such fun traveling together with the Lone Star Social Club, we decided to form a different group dedicated to traveling both local and abroad.
If you're 45 yrs or older, you're in the right place. So pack your suitcase or weekend getaway bag and let's find some exciting places to go see, eat, drink and be merry!!
Members of Lone Star Travel Group travel and participate in events at own risk. Please be cognizant of your fitness level and, if you do drink, be sure to do so responsibly.
Members must join Lone Star Social Club in order to participate in the travel club. That will give everyone the opportunity to meet one another at LSSC events before traveling together. The $5 annual membership fee for Lone Star Social Club covers membership in the Lone Star Travel Club.

🤠😎Everything Magnolia & Stars of Texas Weekend🎵🥳

1st let's go to the Magnolia Market in Waco!! If you loved HGTV’s "Fixer Upper" show as much as I did and you're passionate about home decor, then we're long overdue! The Magnolia Market is the brainchild of Chip and Joanna Gaines, & this store is packed with decor items, kitchenware, and beautiful room displays. Plus, it gets a store refresh each season, with products matching the theme, colors, and mood. Once you’ve gotten our dose of home inspiration, we'll pop by Silos Baking Co for yummy baked goods and/or stock up on gardening supplies at Magnolia Seed & Supply.
Next, we're heading to Ennis, Texas to check into our Air BnB and get some supper & check out the small town vibe!
Saturday morning we'll getup & go to "Fern in the Wild" restaurant and get a hearty breakfast & a yummy Mimosa (or 2) and then head over to the Stars of Texas Festival! Bring your wagons to haul your folding chair & we'll find a spot in front of the band in the GA area and park our stuff. Next we'll head over to the rodeo for some bull riding, and later we'll catch a couple of drag car race! Boy they're loud! If you like BBQ, I think we can find you some! About 5 pm, the bands should start up and after it get's dark we'll release our hot air lanterns and watch the night sky glow with thousands of lanterns floating away! This is a must see experience!! Brad Paisley is the headliner! It's currently $69 online, so don't wait to buy your tickets at the door for $130!! Get them now!!
Sunday morning we'll have breakfast & head back to San Antonio!
