Welcome Lone Stars,
We had such fun traveling together with the Lone Star Social Club, we decided to form a different group dedicated to traveling both local and abroad.
If you're 45 yrs or older, you're in the right place. So pack your suitcase or weekend getaway bag and let's find some exciting places to go see, eat, drink and be merry!!
Members of Lone Star Travel Group travel and participate in events at own risk. Please be cognizant of your fitness level and, if you do drink, be sure to do so responsibly.
Members should join Lone Star Social Club to participate in the travel club. That will give everyone the opportunity to meet one another at LSSC events before traveling together. The $5 annual membership fee for Lone Star Social Club covers membership in the Lone Star Travel Club.

Who wants to get out of Texas in this summer heat? See a whale or a bear in the wilderness, hike a glacier or visit a castle? Have you seen the Auroa Borealis with the sky lit up at night? Let's fly to Seattle and board the Norwegian Bliss for a 7-day cruise full of wonder and excitement!
INFO: One of the most scenic and thrilling cruises is Alaska, and this 7-day itinerary even includes Icy Strait Point and its wilderness experiences. Just outside of Juneau is where youâll find the majestic Mendenhall Glacier. Walk the nature trails and explore the Visitor Center with its view of the Juneau Ice Field. Icy Strait Point is home to the largest Native Tlingit village in the state and its waters are teeming with wildlife, including orcas and humpbacks. Since every shop at Icy Strait Point is Native-owned, this is the place for authentic goods and handicrafts. Your last port is Victoria, the oldest city in the Pacific Northwest. With its green spaces and Victorian architecture, it is stunning. See Butchart Gardens and the stately Craigdarroch Castle.
