Let's party... without the hangover! This group is for those who want to meet new people/connect with others that are sober-curious, alcohol-free, or for those who just want to hang out without having the social pressure to have a cocktail. Fun, healthy and novel experiences to meet new friends and form new friendships that can grow beyond the group.
We ask that you are alcohol-free during the events (Cali sober is OK!) but you don't have to be living the sober life 24/7; just while we are out!
Outings won't revolve around discussing not drinking, but you can of course share struggles. Outings may also take place at locations where alcohol is served (mocktails anyone?!), but we ask that you do not drink alcohol at those venues.

WHO: This group is made up of all kinds of folks! Those who never liked alcohol, those who can't drink anymore for health reasons, those who only drink occasionally, those who are in recovery, those who are trying to drink less or quit, and those who just want to meet new people and are ok with not drinking for a night! Adults only, please. The best way to meet new friends is to attend regularly!
WHAT: We are the largest sober/sober curious group in LA/OC! We do all kinds of events! Beach outings, alcohol-free happy hours, skating, yoga, tourist attractions, trivia, music, museums and aquariums, bingo, movies and more!
WHERE: Most events are in Long Beach, but occasionally in surrounding areas.
WHEN: Events are for the most part weekly and have between 5 -40 attendees!
*Please note that since many of these events have a limited number of spots, those who no-show to 3 or more events will be removed from the group

25-40 (and those who want to date them). Summer love is in the air, so let's have another Speed Dating event for a chance to discover that special someone. If love doesn't find you, you will enjoy a fantastic time and make new friends.

We typically have 40-50 attendees.Dating Success: This is our 10th speed dating event! We’ve connected over 100 couples, with several still going strong—and even one marriage! Let’s keep the excitement going and make more great matches! See pics and videos for past events.
Timeline:
6:00 PM or earlier- Arrive and enjoy a beverage or a quick bite
6:15 PM - CUT-OFF FOR ARRIVALS: Arriving any later will prevent you from participating.
8:30 PM - After the speed dating event, feel free to mix and mingle at your leisure.- The venue offers a selection of food and beverages, including beer, wine, cider, and various non-alcoholic options.
What to Expect:
Prepare for a fun and energetic atmosphere, perfect for meeting new people from our local community.
Our event space is reserved within the restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating. Everybody must check in before 6:15 PM. During the event, women will be seated on one side of the table and men on the opposite and the men will move while the women stay in the same seat. You'll have a brief conversation for a few minutes, and then we'll rotate. Afterward, we'll pair up those who've made connections and email both parties with each other's contact information within 7 days of the event. From there, it's up to you to take it further.Cost:
$15 + fees. Admission comes with a saved seat, and we'll be doing a few raffles to keep it interesting.RSVP:

Parking:
Parking is available in the nearby 4-story parking structure or FREE on Marina Drive. Additionally, you'll receive complimentary 90-minute validation on-site at 2nd & PCH.

Life moves pretty fast! Let's watch under the stars ⭐️. I will arrive early at 7 pm. Come early for get-to-know-yous and a good spot on the sand, otherwise we may not be all together. Low back chairs are ok (and highly recommended or your view may get blocked) and so are pets! Be sure to bring snacks and warm clothes/extra blankets as it DOES get chilly once the sun sets.
Grab a blanket, jump in your Dad's ferrari and watch out for Rooney!
🎥 Movie will start at sunset (8-8:30PM)
#### Food & Popcorn
Local food trucks and Kettle corn vendor will be onsite; BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) is also welcomed.
#### Parking
Free Parking after 6pm at all locations. Parking is limited, first come first serve. Please allow yourself 10-15 mins for parking. The lot take a very long time to leave after the movie, so parking outside the lot can be good for a quick exit.

Let's make friendships with fitness! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️This will be a walk at a good pace, but not a "speed" walk. I am shooting for about 2.5 miles in 45 minutes. This will be an in and out route so if you only want to do 30 minutes, you can just turn back around earlier. We will do get to know yous for the first 5 minutes (10 if we have a big group) and then we are off, no later than 7:05-7:10, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. And yes , 7 AM!
We will walk on the sand by the water unless the tide has made the sand too soft, then it will be the path, but we will try to do water's edge first.
We will meet at the corner of Orizaba and Ocean.
