Hello!

Welcome to the tenth meeting of the Page Turners Anonymous book club! We are a super laid back book club focusing on unconventional books (Idk what this means but it sure doesn't mean the normal books you would read at any other book club!). For our tenth meeting we are going to indulge our spooky side during this spooky month! We are reading Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury! Cooger & Dark’s Pandemonium Shadow Show has come to Green Town, Illinois, to destroy every life touched by its strange and sinister mystery. The carnival rolls in sometime after midnight, ushering in Halloween a week early. Two brothers must. Two brothers must face the strange and dark reality of this carnival.

I absolutely love Halloween and this book is an amazing read during the spooky season!

I want to emphasize that this is not a very high-stakes book club. What I mean by that is that I do not expect a doctoral thesis about the themes and symbology of the book. I just want you to focus on your favorite characters, scenes, and how you related to the book. This does not mean you can skate on by not reading the book. You are still expected to both contribute to the discussion and socialize with the other members. I think socialization and making friends with each other is the keystone to a good book club more so than the books.

We are going to meet at Ambitious Ales. They have an incredible selection of food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) provided by a huge variety of restaurants! I will reserve a seat for everyone. Please do try to arrive on time as it would make the discussion easier. I will get some pizzas from Thunderbolt Pizza! As well as some nice fall treats

For our eleventh meeting we are going to be discussing an amazing historical fiction, . Salem's Lot by Stephen King. Stephen King. Spooky Fall vibes. What more can you want?

We are continuing our Halloween (arguably the best holiday) run of some classic Halloween books! Comehang out, I will bring some yummy fall treats.

Welcome to the twelfth meeting of the Page Turners Anonymous book club! We are a super laid back book club focusing on unconventional books (Idk what this means but it sure doesn't mean the normal books you would read at any other book club!). For our twelfth meeting we are going to be discussing an absolute treat, How To Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix. This book is written by my favorite author. If you're a fan of campy nonsense then this is for you.
