Bike2Parks - and some Longmont history

Back by popular demand! We will visit the three original parks (Roosevelt, Thompson and Collyer) in Longmont while Paula Fitzgerald recounts the history of each. Added to this ride is Dickens Farm Park, which recently had transformation! We will ride through the tree lined beautiful streets in Old Town, ride down to the greenway and then up the hill on the "gentle" side of town.
We will bike on bike lanes and low stress roads throughout Longmont. Total mileage: 6.

Lead by former Parks/Trail Project Manager Paula Fitzgerald and Traffic Safety Coordinator (and former Public Art Administrator) lauren greenfield, Paula will happily autograph her new book, "Longmont - Stories of our Parks" if you bring your copy (available at Barbed Wire Books and the Longmont Museum).

Please be sure that your bike is in good/safe riding condition, and all participants must wear a helmet and sign a waiver. Bring water or snack if desired, and a way to safely carry them. Please update RSVP if your plans change!
