This is a gravel ride once outside of Longmont, down the St. Vrain Bikepath to the LoBo trail to Niwot, then around the Niwot Loop, and back. It looks like a lollipop on a map (at least if you are Salvidore Dali, or maybe dropping acid). On an Easier-Moderate-Serious scale this is probably moderate (on the easier side of moderate), mostly due to the 400+ foot, 3 tiered hill in Niwot, with a nice view at the top. The ride is over 22 miles. There are no washboards, but riders should be comfortable braking downhill on gravel–gravel bikes or mountain bikes are recommended. Expect to take about 2 hours. This is a no drop ride.
