Details
### Details
TYPE: Walk | PACE: Moderate | TERRAIN: Paved Neighborhood Streets | DISTANCE: Approx. 3–4 miles
We’ll meet at Roosevelt Park, in front of the senior center, and take a relaxed walk through Longmont’s charming historic neighborhoods before heading downtown to the Día de los Muertos Family Celebration.
Expect tree-lined streets, early fall colors, and great conversation as we make our way toward one of Longmont’s most beloved cultural events.
The celebration begins at 11:00 AM and includes art, food, music, altars, and the famous Gigantes Procession later in the day. You can learn more about the festival here: Downtown Longmont Día de los Muertos Celebration. After checking out the stalls, we may look for a place to get lunch.
