Longmont Walks goes to Roxborough State Park!

TYPE: Hike | PACE: Moderate | TERRAIN: Dirt | DISTANCE: Approx. 3-4 miles.
We'll explore the stunning Fountain Valley Trail at Roxborough State Park, winding through dramatic red sandstone fins and sweeping valley views.
A daily state park pass is required per vehicle unless you have an annual pass. The cost is $10 per vehicle if you do not have a pass.
After the hike if people want to, we’ll head to the School House Kitchen and Libations on the way back, to check out their creative American good and cool atmosphere.

### How to Prepare:
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes suitable for dirt trails, and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water to stay hydrated, and consider packing a small snack if you'd like a break along the way. Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended for sun protection.
Note: Roxborough does not allow dogs.
### Meeting Sites:
Carpool: Meet at Roger’s Grove Park, Longmontt 8:10 AM in the parking lot off Hover. Please arrive a little early so we can leave on time. We will leave 8:15.
Hike Start: Meet at Fountain Valley Trailhead, Roxborough State Park – 9:30 AM.
