Fort Collins Dixon Reservoir Loop followed by Pizza

TYPE: Walk | PACE: Moderate | TERRAIN: Dirt & Paved | DISTANCE: Approx. 3-4 miles.

We'll meet at the Maxwell Natural Area parking lot in Fort Collins and take a scenic loop around Dixon Reservoir. This trail offers a mix of dirt and paved paths with great views of the foothills and water. It’s a low key hike with some elevation and dirt but nothing too bad. It is a fun walk around the lake and you can see Horsetooth which looks great. It is one of my favorite spots to bike.

After our walk, we’ll head to Totally 80s Pizza, home to not just great pizza, but also Colorado’s best 80s memorabilia museum! Expect walls covered in vintage posters, old-school arcade games, and plenty of nostalgia to go with your slice. As a kid obsessed with everything 80s, especially Ghostbuster, I am incredibly excited for this!

### How to Prepare:

Bring whatever you need to be comfortable, including good walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

### Meeting Site:

• Carpool: Roger’s Grove Park, Longmont – Meet at 8:15 AM. We will be in the parking lot off of Hover. Please make it a bit early so we can leave at 8:15.
• Walk Start: Maxwell Natural Area parking lot, Fort Collins – Walk begins at 9:00 AM
