TYPE: Community Walk & Halloween Parade | PACE: Leisurely | TERRAIN: Paved streets and sidewalks | DISTANCE: Approximately 1–2 miles |
Get your costumes ready! Join us for a festive Saturday morning at the Longmont Halloween Parade!

We'll get together, enjoy the Halloween festivities, join the parade, and then head out for some snacks afterwards (Location TBD).

We'll meet in front of the Longmont Senior Center at 9:30 AM. We'll hang out for a little while, admire everyone's costumes, and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere before joining the parade at 10 AM.

Once the parade gets going, we'll walk together through downtown Longmont, enjoying all the creative costumes, decorations, and community spirit. We'll make our way through the parade route and loop back toward our starting area.

Afterward, anyone interested can join us for some coffee and pastries afterwards.

Costumes are encouraged but absolutely not required! Whether you come dressed as a ghost, a dinosaur, or just yourself, everyone is welcome.
A walk is another way to connect with nature and other community members. All ages and fitness levels are encouraged. Bilingual (Spanish) is welcomed.

Walking Movement Leader:
Jorge Garza. I have been walking with Longmont Walks for over a year and am incredibly excited to be a walk leader. Hoping to host walks all over some of my favorite spots in Longmont and beyond. Always looking to connect with new people and walk in beautiful weather. Text me if you have any questions or need help finding us (520-390-8707).

How to prepare: Wear a fun costume if you'd like, along with comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Bring water and anything else you might need. We'll be walking on paved downtown streets at a leisurely pace, with some standing and waiting before the parade. Expect crowds and a festive atmosphere!

Meeting site: Longmont Senior Center
We'll meet at 9:30 AM in front of the Senior Center. Please allow extra time for parking, as downtown streets may be closed for the parade and parking may be limited.

Volunteers are not liable for any injury or illness that may happen during the event or that results from participating in this event. Please take good care to only sign up for walks or hikes that are within your skill level and comfort. As always, have fun and be safe!
