Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon in endless SUMMER of 2025 (August)???

Why not join us for a leisurely Walking Tour of the MARINA DISTRICT of MARINA DEL REY and Burton Chace Park?

boat, Boats, and MORE BOATS!!!

ITINERARY:

1. Meeting location and time:

Meeting time: 2:30 PM PST

Meet at Ralphs Fresh Fare at address:

Some Meetup members may be running late, so we can wait 15-20 minutes for Meetup members that may be running late.

The Meetup members may chat, mingle, socialize, and get to know each other better.

2. The Meetup members may set out foot on the Walking Tour of the MARINA DISTRICT of Marina Del Rey from Ralphs Fresh Fare
towards the MARINA DISTRICT along Mindanao Way.

The group will reach the Marvin Braude Bike Path, then will proceed along Marvin Braude Bike Path to IMMERSE ourselves in the
multitude the BEAUTIFUL FORMS of the SEA VESSELS on display in the MARINA DISTRICT.

3. The Ritz Carlton of Marina Del Rey, Jamaica Bay Inn, Mother's Beach, etc.

The Meetup group may proceed to Promenade Way from the Marvin Braude Bike Path towards the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, reviewing
both the BEAUTIFUL FORMS of the SEA VESSELS and the ORIGINAL ARCHITECTURE of the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, Jamaica Bay Inn Marina Del Rey, and the other buildings in the MARINA DISTRICT of MARINA DEL REY.

Also a visit to Mother's Beach is planned.

Finally, the Meetup Group can visit a local favorite hotspot, Burton Chace Park, site of the MARINA DEL REY SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
in July and August each year!

This event is scheduled for the SAME date as the following concert in Burton Chace Park:

August 9 | Marina del Rey Symphony: Christopher Tin's Calling All Dawns featuring Angel City Chorale

Please bring enough water for approximately a 2 mile LEVEL hike along the Marvin Braude BIKE PATH and Promenade Way Walk path, a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and some snack items to consume during the hike.

This hike is not meant to exhaust the Meetup members; it is just a light, easy hike to enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean, IMMERSE yourself in the BEAUTIFUL FORMS of the SEA VESSELS, review the architecture of the buildings along the coast, get some exercises, mingle, socialize, and get to know the other Meetup members.
