What we’re about
Welcome to people interested in dancing and live music -- learning to dance, improving dance skills, fitness, seeing live music, swing music, blues music, contemporary music -- and combining social dance with a live music experience -- here's the place for you! We want to bring communities together by bringing like-minded people to live music events where dancing is encouraged. This can be Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Moorpark, or wherever you are in Southern California. We get the best live bands around, offer venues with safe parking, sweet dance floor, friendly staff, and a welcoming crew. We encourage friends to bring friends so everyone can meet more people interested in the same thing. We'll plan events with local dance instructors with specific styles that will get you on the dance floor for the first song. You'll meet lots of people; singles and couples -- others interested in social dancing: East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Ballroom, Cha-Cha, and anything else the community wants.

CLUB 507 listens when our dancers make requests. Not only do we listen when you request certain bands, but also when you want more dance classes in the Santa Clarita Valley.
CLUB 507 is offering WEDNESDAY EVENING SWING DANCE CLASSES beginning April 17th, from 7-9:00pm.
7-8pm: Swing Dance Instruction with an emphasis on connection with your partner. No matter if you prefer to be a lead or a follow, you'll need to gain a good grasp of what it feels like to be led and to follow. You'll receive instruction at the very basic levels, as well as more challenging moves throughout these next FOUR WEEKS.
8-9pm: Use this time with DJ'd music by Ellen to practice the moves and concepts you've learned during class! And if you can't make it to class that's okay, we'd still love to see you for the social after at a disconted rate.
COST: $20 for the class and DJ practice / social dance
$10 for the DJ event portion from 8-9pm only
Can you believe that!? All for just $20! How could you miss an opportunity to also help support the American Legion, Post 507.
You know that CLUB 507 also hosts SWINGIN' SUNDAYS, with live bands every Sunday (except 2nd Sunday which is the SCVBS BLUES JAM -- where dancers are also welcome), from 5-8(ish)pm. Ellen's instruction will coincide wonderfully with any other dance events held at this American Legion Post 507 -- but especially well with the bands on Sundays. Guests who attend Ellen's dance lesson each Wednesday will receive $5 off the next succeeding CLUB 507 Sunday Live Band Event.

The Pepper Moons is a favorite of vintage music fans and dancers, and are seen frequently at the Cicada Club. They perform Pre-Bop music from the glamorous days of the Swing Era. They'll have you up and shakin' your booty to every song!
