The famous trip of Juan Batista de Anza to San Francisco in 1775 takes us part of the way through Griffith Park

Join Friends of Griffith Park and Anza Trail Ranger Hale Sargent for a guided history hike along the Anza Recreation Trail in Griffith Park. This event will also debut a new map and brochure "The Anza Trail in Griffith Park"

    I think the joggin gstroller would work just fine. It has big wheels that can take the loose dity & the trail is wide, not a single track trail.

    I think round trip was about 3 miles, but you wouldn't have to go all the way if you needed to turn back the return is via the same trail; it is not a loop.

    Is this kid friendly? I have took my 1 year old in the jogging strolller to the wide trails in Griffith park. Is this one that I can take my jogging stroller on?

    Did this w/Sierra Club 2 months ago. Have hiked in Griffith Park, but never knew AnzaTrail existed. It is a walk, not a hike, but is interesting & info is disseminated about future plans for Anza Trail.
    We walked to the rock w/CA Historic Marker on it & returned via the same route.
