Hike Leader: Fearless leader Jose Ok these pics are really how this place looks like. Now before you hit the yes button read this: THIS PLACE IS FAR AWAY, I mean far away. So that is why you probably never heard of this place. Next you better not be afraid of heights. As you probably can tell by the pictures. the trails are perfectly safe and fun, just a little steep. Don't worry there are no "crap i'm going to die !" parts of the hike. Just some boulder hopping and scrambling. Also the only shade on this hike is in the caves. If it is a hot day, we are going to suffer. Well after the suffering we will do another little hike a couple a miles away to a hot springs, where we will soak the pains from the earlier hike away. BTW if something happens to you, not my fault you were dumb enough to come with me. When: Sept 29 ,[masked]:30am where: It is two hours away from griffith park ranger station. So we will meet there and carpool up. Then I will give you guys the directions there. So be prepared to drive four hours round trip this day. So basically be prepared to come back at night. What to bring: Lunch, HIKING SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!! swimsuit if going in the hot tub, water water water water, hat, anything you think you might need for the day trip. 2 dollars parking fee Hike level: medium 650 feet for the cave, 400 feet for the hot springs, 2.5 miles for the caves, 1.5 miles rt for the hot springs. Hike description: CAVES first we go down an asfault road and take a trail up to the caves. The trail is steep at times and we will rock hop a couple of times. There are two sets of caves the lower and the upper. Anyone can do lower caves and the upper caves are little higher and harder to get to, but if you don't want to get up there you can wait at the lower caves. HOT springs: we get back in the cars and drive a couple of miles to the next hike. The bad news is that the hot springs parking lot requires a 2 dollar fee. We go up a dirt road and then a trail up to the hot springs. The hike is pretty easy there. you can do it in sandals. The only problem is the poison oak. You will have some fun doing the limbo and other funny moves avoiding it Email me if you have questions Rain cancels, No waitlists wait til someone drops and take their place. fearless leader Jose
