Griffith Park Morning Hikes ---To the Wisdom Tree and Lunch after

Elevation gain: 967 feet approx.

Elevation: 1 ,750 feet.

Pace: moderate speed.

Difficulty: 7/10 advanced intermediate Hike.

Departure Time: 8:30 am.

Duration: 4 hours plus (8:30 am-1:30 pm) .

Distance: 7.5 miles.

Meeting Place: turner trail head next to the Observatory parking lot.

Lunch will be at the Los Feliz Cafe (http://www.losfelizcafe.com/) (http://www.losfelizcafe.com/).

You must wear hiking shoes or trail runners. MUST BRING 48 ounces water. For emergencies, please consider bringing aspirin, band aids, knee brace, and tape. For a life-time picture moment, bring your camera. There will steep inclines and declines. You will see landmarks such as, the Observatory, the Mount Lee, Hollywood sign, Mt. Hollywood and others.

All are welcome to join me , but please consider the distance and inclination, and your health condition. I am looking forward to hiking with all of you. This is going to be a very fun hike.

Rules of Conduct: (1.) Absolutely ... " no one left Behind." (2) The pace and amount of stops are at the discretion of the Hike Leader .(3) If someone is faster behind you, you must offer to yield. (4) Downhill hikers must yield to uphill hikers in a single file line on the trail. (5) Always follow your leader. (6) If you decide to split from the group, let Edwin know so he knows you are on your own.
