Park your car outside the park on Temescal Canyon Road near the High School practice field and walk into the park. We are meeting at the main parking lot near the store, office area. We will ascend the trail to the Temescal Bridge and Waterfall.

Continuing up the ridgeline trail we will reach Skull Rock.

Pushing onward we enter Topanga Canyon and continue to Cathedral Rock.

We should arrive around 11:00am and will stop here for lunch, relaxation, and meditation.

This is an out and back hike so the return trip is by the same trail with a slight deviation for the end to include the entire Temescal Gateway Loop.

Things to bring on this hike: 3 liters of water, hiking shoes, appropriate clothing, lunch, trail snacks, water, camera, hat, trekking poles, sunscreen, water, energy bars, first aid kit, positive attitude!
