Are you looking to add a cardio workout during the week? Join us on a TNT power-hike! The workouts will be fast-pace, up some steep climbs, light jogging, and short burst. We'll burn calories,build strength, and increase stamina!
This is NOT a slow pace "social hike". This IS a high intensity workout hike: fast pace,steep sections, and few breaks. You must already be well conditioned before attempting a TNT power-hike. The group keeps a fast pace and/or jogging pace to get our heart rate up and improve our conditioning.
Tuesday 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM (hikes starts at 7pm)

Mineral Wells Trail to Vista Del Valle, catch our breath, enjoy the view, and then continue. Aprroximate Length/Time: 3.9 miles, 1hr 40min (break included)

From 134 Freeway:
(Note: Griffith Park Dr. is a dark single lane route; Los Felix Blvd may be an easier route)
EXIT Forest Lawn Dr (If driving Westbound go straight, from Eastbound go Right). Go LEFT on Zoo Drive Go RIGHT on Griffith Park Drive Road weaves through Griffith Park for about 3-miles Go RIGHT on Crystal Springs Road Go RIGHT at next Stop Sign; no street sign. Sign in the median should point RIGHT to the Merry Go Round Continue up the road a bit and make a sharp right hand turn into Parking Lot #1 As you enter the lot STAY to the LEFT and park towards the last aisles (South/Southeast area of lot)
From Los Feliz Blvd.
Driving WEST on Los Feliz Blvd. Make a RIGHT on Riverside Drive into Griffith Park. Go TWO STOP SIGNS and make a LEFT & continue up the road a bit. The road makes a sharp right hand turn into a Parking Lot #1,as you enter the lot stay to the LEFT and park towards the last aisles (South/Southeast area of lot)
