Mt Rexmore loop in Chatsworth. Rock play and Caves for us monkeys

THE HIKE STARTS AT 1:30, BUT....
if you want, please Join me for a Pre-Hike Indian Buffet at noon at Royal Delhi Palace in Canoga Park, 3 blocks west of Topanga Canyon Blvd on Sherman Way in the Ralph's market shopping center. 8 bucks plus tax and tip. It takes 20 minutes to drive to the trailhead, so we will leave the chow place no later than 1:00.

Monkey Business, definition (Rex's dictionary): hiking plus assorted tomfoolery involving cool boulders and caves, providing a workout for both legs and arms, while our hike leader plays guitar and "sings" classic rock songs

ELEVATION GAIN: maybe 500 feet

HIKE LENGTH: about 3 miles, maybe, I don't really know, it is a total mystery to me

I donated some cash to the non-profit group which I run and it bought this 118 acre collection of rocks, trails and two peaks in late 2013.... So why did I name it Mt. Rexmore? Because I can.
