Thursday Night West LA Hike: Main Street, Pier, and Beach Walk Santa Monica

THURSDAY NIGHT URBAN WALK through two of the most fascinating beach cities in LA.

TIME: 6:30 to 8:30 PM

DISTANCE: 6 miles round-trip; 3 miles each way. That's right, you'll be walking a 10k. We should finish by 8:30.

DETAILS: We'll meet on Via Dolce in the marina and head North. We'll make our way through Venice and Main Street Santa Monica and turn around at Shutters Hotel. Return trip: Ocean Front Walk South. Left on Washington. Right on Via Dolce to cars or into Islands for dinner.

BRING: water, comfortable shoes.

DINNER: TBD

DOGS: YES!! On leash, of course.

PARKING: Free. On the street along Via Dolce near the Ballona Lagoon trailhead. Take Washington Blvd West. Two blocks before the Venice Pier, turn left on Via Dolce and go 1/2 mile. At the fork, go straight. We park next to the big lagoon, between Marquesas Way and Roma Court.
