Eagle Rock & caves from Trippett ranch at Topanga State Park

LOOP HIKE: Musch trail to Eagle rock, then return via east Topanga fire road

PARKING: park free on Entrada road just before the park entrance or pay the RIDICULOUSLY high parking fee inside the lot.

LENGTH: 5 to 6 miles, about 3 hours. We'll stop and play at Eagle Rock

WHERE: TOPANGA STATE PARK. Reached from Topanga Canyon Blvd., turn at the State Park sign onto Entrada Road, follow it for about a mile to where all the cars are parked by the roadside, or follow it all the way in past the entrance gate and pay big parking fee.
