Standard route wide dirt road route from Sandstone Peak parking lot to Sandstone Peak, then west on the narrower Backbone/Chamberlin trail to see some new stuff. We will return the reverse of this route (NOTE: we will not do the usual cave exploration and dodging of poison oak)
AFTER HIKE MUNCHING: at Neptune's Net, bottom of the mountain at PCH and Yerba Buena Road.
