DESTINATION: ROCKY PEAK
Out and back, not a loop
HIKE LENGTH: about 5 miles, elevation gain around 1000 feet from start to Rocky Peak (1500 cumulative).
DIFFICULTY: medium, slow pace, LOTS OF ROCK SCRAMBLING and exploring. We will take the Rocky Peak trail to the rock room, climb the mini peak above the room, drop back down to the main trail. Might take the trail north of the Hummingbird turnoff to the west for some more fun. Then backtrack and hit the main attraction, Rocky Peak.
DOGS ARE OK AS LONG AS OWNER IS ON A LEASH AND HAS ENOUGH WATER
