New Year's Day=Climb Rocks & Trails At Mt Rexmore

Dear Fellow rock scrambling monkeys: meet at the Rocky Peak trailhead parking area located at the South end of the Rocky Peak offramp bridge at the 118 freeway.

The hike is moderately difficult, 600 foot elevation gain. 3 miles. 4 hours max

THE STORY: I donated some cash to the non-profit group which I run and we bought this 118 acre collection of rocks, trails and two peaks next to Rocky Peak, Corriganville and Santa Susana Pass State Park in late 2013.... So why did I name it Mt. Rexmore? Because I can.

Everyone must sign a liability waiver....yup, Damn lawyers, because Mt. Rexmore is private property, and it does not have the automatic liability immunity which public parks have.
