Full Moon Rex's Mystery rock-scrambling Hike & Dine above the Pyramid of Caves

THE DEETS: Bring your own dinner, and hygenically wrapped items to share, beer, wine, yada yada as we will climb to the top of Calabasas Peak, stop and chow down. We will then take a wide dirt path down to our cars.

MOST IMPORTANT, BUT CRYPTIC DETAILS:

DIFFICULTY: a bit hard, there will be lots of rock scrambling (requiring use of your hands, but not ropes). There is some scratchy brush.

--ALSO, bring FACE MASKS, STAY SIX FEET APART, also bring leather gloves to keep your hands in one piece , ALTHOUGH I NEVER DO. Also a flashlight or headlamp, a hat, plenty of water, comfy hiking shoes, ......

The corona virus cops require that we keep to a small group. So everyone that RSVPs goes into a waiting list. I will choose who goes in the main, most experienced group as this is an adventurous hike. I will also have a second group that will avoid the danger and cruise up on a wide dirt path to Calabasas Peak. That group will take a wide trail both up and down the peak.

THE UPDATE: ON THE ADVENTURE TRAIL, THERE IS A NEW BYPASS TRAIL (DEC 2018) WHICH GETS YOU AROUND THE MOST CHALLENGING PARTS AND YOU GET TO SEE SOME NEWLY FOUND CAVES!!!!
