BACKGROUND:
The key puzzle piece in the Rim of the Valley park west of Chatsworth Reservoir is about to be sold to a parks agency for $2.4 million. The 162 acre parcel has lots of trails, three streams, TWO EARTHQUAKE FAULTS!!, lots of rocks, and lots of sagebrush and wildflowers in bloom (in the spring and summer.)

It is east of Dayton canyon park, which is 240 acres recently given to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy by a builder of homes at the bottom of the canyon.

We will stop to explore rocks and caves and act like monkeys periodically.
