The hike will be followed by dinner at the Sagebrush cantina in Calabasas, with live music and dancing if you feel like it

THERE IS A NEW BYPASS TRAIL (DEC 2018) WHICH GETS YOU AROUND THE MOST CHALLENGING PARTS AND YOU GET TO SEE SOME NEWLY FOUND CAVES!!!!

MOST IMPORTANT, BUT CRYPTIC DETAILS: DIFFICULTY: a bit hard, there will be lots of rock scrambling (requiring use of your hands, but not ropes). There is some scratchy brush along part of the trail.
--ALSO, bring leather gloves to keep your hands in one piece , ALTHOUGH I NEVER DO.
--PHOTOGENIC? Hell yes! EXTREMELY SCENIC!!
--DISTANCE: 3 miles round trip --ELEVATION GAIN: 850 feet in one mile.
AS USUAL: BRING A CAMERA---You will understand why.
