6 mile roundtrip to Trail Canyon falls in Big Tujunga

3 miles each way, out and back route, combo of wide and narrow trails, moderate difficulty level, dogs ok as long as owner is on leash, 700 feet elevation gain, lush green canyon, 30 foot tall waterfall, we will visit the top and optionally, the bottom of the falls (medium difficulty trail)

LOCATION: 6.3 MILES FROM THE 210 FREEWAY, ON NON-TWISTY ROADS:
exit at Sunland blvd, turn left, then left at Oro Vista, then right onto Big Tujunga canyon road. Look for red trailhead sign on the left.

SAFETY AND ESSENTIALS: I'm not your MOM! Bring a hat, 20 gallons of water, snacks, comfy shoes with good grip, old fax machines AND YOUR PASSPORT.
