Something Different: My Private Places for Love in Santa Inez Canyon

Details
This is a very special place for me. It is the first place I hiked over 40 years ago. It is the main reason I did not graduate college the first time around....
It is also the only outdoors place I have done the horizontal bop, if you catch my drift. We will see a waterfall and rocks and a cave, all of which have featured in my mischief over the years.
LENGTH: about 4 miles. Some poison oak to look out for. Creek crossings may be wet. Bring shoes you can get wet...
Optional dinner at the Reel Inn, located at PCH and Topanga Canyon Blvd.

DIFFICULTY: Pretty easy for the first mile: Here we will start at the condos of Palisades Highlands, cruise through the shady oak-filled canyon with several creek crossings. We will hike to the big waterfall. Then backtrack and check out a cave that holds 5 people comfortably, then climb to the top of the ridge above the cave, to some very special rocks (wink wink).
THE USUAL STUFF: BRING ALL THE USUAL STUFF, I'M NOT YOUR MOM.... Bring clothing (sorry, nude hikes are a different Meetup group), lots of water, hat, comfy shoes, snacks, all your troubles..., guitar, camera, etc
LEGAL STUFF: by going on this hike, you agree to assume all risks of this hike, and that no one at Meetup including the organizer is responsible for your safety. See the Meetup terms of service especially paragraph 6.2: https://www.meetup.com/terms/

I put together this doc on edible plants we may see on the hike. It quotes websites that discuss the plants and have photos to help you identify them. If you want to eat a plant, I recommend you make certain it is edible by doing your own research. I am only quoting the work of others in this document!!!!!
