Temescal Canyon Park: Hike and Jam Session in the Meadow

WHERE TO MEET: Meet at the Northwest corner of Temescal Canyon and Sunset Blvd. There is a Big, brown “Temescal Gateway Park” sign there.

PARKING: Pay for parking in the lots. Free parking on Sunset Blvd.

ROUTE: Probably 3 miles, all on trails, medium level of difficulty. We will hike Temescal Canyon's west ridgeline uphill for an hour. Then return to "start". We can pick up chairs, yoga mats, acoustic music instruments, drinks, fax machines...
We’ll then head up the canyon road to a beautiful meadow for a jam session.

Our jam session will be a blend of playing tunes that you know and collaborating to make our own improvised sounds. You can participate with an instrument or your voice. You can also just listen, daydream, hang out, snack and/or relax.

Optional dinner at The Reel Inn after. (PCH and Topanga Canyon Blvd)

Bring 3 liters of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, comfy shoes, an instrument if you play one, a tire iron, etc. etc.
