The Fern Truck Trail is one of the hidden gems of the Angeles National Forrest. It's an exciting loop which offers amazing panoramic views, scenic variety and best of all you'll feel like you're hiking through a remote forest even though you're only minutes from downtown Pasadena. A stretch of trail meanders under a canopy of oaks.

On this 5 mile hike with 1200' elevation gain you'll enjoy panoramic views of the San Gabriel Valley, Hollywood Hills and the Verdugo Mountains.

The trailhead is situated in a residential area. Please be respectful of the neighborhood and keep the noise level down, park legally don't block driveways, stay out of the street, off the lawns, and don't loiter. Thank you.

Bring at least 2 litres of water. Free street parking. 21 and over. No pets.
