Urban Hike to the Pasadena Doo Dah Parade!

11/15 UPDATE -PLEASE READ: Howdy Doo-Dah everyone! Are you ready for a fun parade this weekend? Do you have your TORTILLAS? If not, go buy some BEFORE the parade!! Any will do - gluten, gluten free, CORN tortillas are best! Why??? You'll find out when we get there!!! Here's a rather loooong update. Sorry! It's long but hopefully NOT COMPLICATED! Please read on:

How to find us - (Between 10:00 and 10:30 am) on the sidewalk in front of Crate & Barrel. If there is room, we'll stay there. If not, we'll walk along Colorado. Tip: feel free to ask "are you with LA Hiking?"

How to find me (Maya) - I'll be wearing a Santa Hat ( I'll post a pic by Saturday )

Time: between 10:00-10:30 am, Sunday, 11/19/23

Bring: TORTILLAS -optional (not kidding, bring them for the food fight), Kazoos if u have any, chairs, or you can stand, or sit on the curb; sunblock, dinero $$, maybe umbrella? (but not a huge one so no one gets poked)

GETTING THERE: Whatever you are comfortable with ( see the parade link below) OR, meet me at the Lincoln/Cypress Metro Station at 9:00 am. Bring your TAP card or buy one at the Kiosk ($2.00 for the card, $1.75 for the one way trip)

Save the date, November 19.
The 44th annual DooDah parade is back! Kick off begins at 11:00 am, but as with most parades, you need to arrive early and find a spot. So we will more than likely meet at a Metro station, take the Metro as parking might be challenging, and walk to the parade route and join the crowd on Colorado Boulevard.

This is a fun, silly, offbeat and wacky parade. I will post more details later.
