Birdbath hike in Griffith Park

This is a challenging hike up a lightly travelled trail on the city side of griffith park. There is a climbing portion up a single track trail that is almost like a stair hike, but they are natural stone steps. We join the highest peak of the hogback trail where this hike gets its name. We will continue up to mount hollywood and take the fire roads back down. Hike will be 6-7 mile "ish" :), maybe 1,400' of gain. Its not as steep of a climb as brand library was, but the hikers who did that yesterday were impressive, some of them kicked my butt!
