Afternoon/Evening hike about 4.75 miles round trip with 2200 feet elevation gain overlooking the San Fernando Valley.

This is an advanced level hike and not for hiking beginners/novices. We'll be power-walking uphill for about 65 minutes straight and then rapidly descending for the same amount of time with minimal breaks. Group participants able and willing to accelerate further should feel free to do so.

Elevation Gain: 2400 Feet
Time Expectation: Complete hike in 2 Hour 5 Minutes

Must Bring: Water, Trail-Ready Footwear
Recommend Items: Light, Map/Gpx, Walking Poles, Energy Bar, [Winter: Gloves, Warm Layer], [Summer: Sunscreen, Hat, Glasses]

Evacuations: serious injuries will result in the group immediately returning to the nearest trail exit
Cancellation: Rain (See forecasts for >35% precipitation), Heat (>95 fahrenheit / >35 celsius)
