Fryman to franklin canyon adventure.

This is a moderately challenging hike exploring our beautiful coldwater canyon area. Its about 10 miles with 2,100' of elevation gain. We start up the back door entrance to fryman up to tree people, cross over mulholland drive and down into franklin canyon. Great views and lots to see, ponds, ducks, lush jungle like growth etc. We will take our time to enjoy, and have a break at the park at the bottom of franklin canyon park, so bring something to eat if you'd like. Restrooms and water available at this point, 6 miles in. A hiking pole may be helpful but not required.
