Parker Mesa overlook, exploring the Palisades recovery.

This trail has recently re-opened, usually a lush hike up to the view point of the santa monica bay, it will now be an observation of mother nature recovering from the devastating palisades fire. Stats, 7 1/2 miles, 1,600' of elevation gain. There will be an option to do only half of the hike when we re-group at the first overlook area. Lots of street parking, it appears there are porta potties rather than restrooms. Since its technically in topanga state park, dogs are not allowed, although I always see them.
