Details
MEET AT "EL SCORPION CANYON PARK" SIGN. 3 hour hike. Rock scrambling (using your hands) is required for you to get through the cave and at Castle Peak
WEATHER: probably
WARNING: DO NOT GO ON THIS HIKE. You will probably not like it.
DIFFICULTY: DIFFICULT AT TIMES. 3 miles and 3 hours.
700 feet elevation gain.
This is an adventure hike; there is the risk of poison oak, ticks and scratchy brush.
We will be walking on narrow single track trails and slippery slopes. THERE IS NO SHADE! The scenery makes this all worth it.
POST-HIKE DINNER: LIKELY

DOGS: dogs are permitted as long as the owner is on leash. But I recommend no dogs, please, even if on leash. You will have to carry your dog up through the "circular staircase" of the cave, and Rover will not be pleased.

BRING ALL THE USUAL STUFF, I'M NOT YOUR MOM....
Bring clothing (sorry, nude hikes are a different Meetup group), lots of water--at least 3 bottles, a hat, comfy shoes, snacks, all your troubles...
LEGAL STUFF: finally, by going on this hike, you agree to assume all risks of this hike, and that no one at Meetup including the organizer is responsible for your safety.
