Winter Social and Dance Party in Pasadena 🎉🎵💃🕺

Join us at the Mixx Restaurant and Nightclub in Pasadena for our 2nd Annual Winter party. We hiked a lot of miles in 2025 and welcomed new hikers. Let’s get together to kick off the new year with our fellow hiker friends, old and new, and to celebrate the amazing community we are a part of. This was such a fun event last year- let’s make it happen again!
Don’t hesitate to come alone, or if you are newer to the group. Everyone wearing a wrist band will be there to enjoy the ambiance and say hello.
This is a casual event where you can just hang out and chill or boogie on the dance floor as early as 6:00 pm. You heard that right! Dancing at 6:00pm! Zero dance skills are welcome! The event goes on til 9:30pm, but you can stay until closing. Don’t worry- that 10+ mile Saturday morning crack of dawn hike - you’ll slay it!
AGE: 21 and over. ID required
WHERE: The MIxx, 443 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91101. Mixx is a neighborhood night club and restaurant with a large screen for dance videos, a DJ playing all the best dance hits, and a bar/tables for those who want to sit.
ARRIVAL/ADMISSION: Please arrive by 6:30 pm for a host to give you a wristband. Hosts will be there by 6:00 at a table with balloons to hand out wristbands that allow you to skip the cover charge later at night AND to recognize our group members. There is NO cover charge to enter during the designated hours of 6:00pm to 7:00pm. LATECOMERS: If you arrive after 6:30, the hosts are probably on the dance floor having fun. 21 and over. ID required.
BRING: ID (21 and over), cash or credit card, friendly attitude. Guests are also welcome and will receive a wristband.
DRESS CODE: Dress to impress is preferred (or nice casual)
FOOD/DRINKS: Happy Hour prices and drink specials until 8:00pm. Appetizers, and entrees are available for purchase. Bring cash or credit card. No purchase necessary. No outside food or drinks allowed.
PARKING: Street parking is FREE after 6pm along Colorado and Los Robles, and other spots near the venue. Please check posted street signs. Garage parking (not free) is available at Paseo Colorado at 360 E Colorado near Euclid.
LIABILITY: The organizer is an uncompensated and untrained volunteer. By joining this event each member accepts full responsibility for knowing their limits, for all injuries, health issues, material losses, assessing all risks and for getting lost. Each member shall make their guests aware of these policies and releases the host from all liability.
