Urban Holiday Walk to Rodeo Drive

Let's go see some festive holiday decorations along Rodeo Drive and surrounding areas! Join us this Monday, December 22 at 6:00 pm for an approximately 2-2.5 hour walk. I'll try to finish by 8:00-8:15ish. If you need to leave earlier, that is fine. We will be walking and gawking at holiday decorations and window wishing/window shopping luxury storefront displays. Yes, window wishing because even window shopping on Rodeo is pricey. There will also be some stairs, but not a lot. Feel free to wear something festive.

Free parking is available after 5:00 pm in the garage parking lot adjacent to the library. Please see the pix I posted to help guide you to the location. Give yourself extra time to drive and not rush, since it is holiday season traffic. You can arrive early and explore the library, go to the restroom, relax, have a snack...
LEVEL: Moderate + but pace will vary. We will slow down a bit from time to time to gawk at decorations and stop at red lights before crossing streets. Otherwise, the pace is NOT a slow stroll. We will walk faster if we see a Krampus. **Important Note: Be sure to keep up with the group, or you will get separated. If that happens, you are responsible for exploring on your own. We have to maintain the pace in order to finish on time.
LENGTH: appx 4 miles.
BRING: Flashlight, exercise clothes, workout shoes (hiking shoes are not necessary, sunscreen, water, phone with GPS in case u want to leave early, bug repellant? Most of the hiking is on asphalt and concrete.
MEETUP SPOT: Beverly Hills Public Library, 444 N. Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. You may have to Google directions manually as the Meetup link might not work properly.
MEETUP TIME: 6:00 pm sharp. We have quick introductions and leave promptly at 6:05. We finish around 8:00-8:15 pm.
PARKING: FREE after 5:00 pm - garage parking in the lot adjacent to the library. You will enter through a fancy structure with arches and drive a few yards to enter the parking lot. When you see the LARGE COLOR MURAL above the parking lot entrance, that's where you drive in. Physical address for the parking lot is 450 N Rexford Dr.
