Chandler motorway hike in the verdugos to the wishing tree.

This is a hidden gem, its the western entrance to the verdugos. We will hike the fire road up to the junction to stough canyon, make a brief break at the tree and benches with a view of the valley. Hike is about 6 1/2 miles long with 1400' of elevation gain. Great view and lush green hillsides, with a birds eye view of the burbank airport. This is the time of year to do this hike since there is not much shade but the weather is cool. It should be exceptionally green right now!
