Windy Gap Trail maintenance

Meeting location: Gateway Center on Hwy. 39 in Azusa. North of town where the road narrows to 2 lanes. Look for the large turnout on the right side.

Please join the San Gabriel Mountain Trail Builders as we repair storm damage on this popular trail. Hike will be around 5 miles round trip with about 1000' of gain.

We try to accommodate each persons needs regarding tasks and hope that you have a productive and enjoyable experience. We will provide tools but you can bring your own if you prefer.

Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, good boots or hiking shoes are required. Hard hat, gloves and safety glasses can be provided or you may prefer to bring your own. Please be sure to bring plenty of water and your lunch.

We hope to be back to the Gateway Center by 4 pm.
