Urban Hike - Eagle Rock

This clockwise tour of the community of Eagle Rock is mostly a walk with a little bit of hiking (including 1 or 2 stairways). We will enjoy fantastic views, absorb the neighborhood character and tour through the Occidental College campus along the way.

• Level: Intermediate
• Speed: average 2.5 miles per hour
• Distance: 6 miles
• Elevation gain: ~800 feet (including a climb up Fiji Hill at Oxy)
• Duration: ~3 hours total (including breaks)
• Bathrooms: Use the restroom at Target before we start. We will stop at the Yosemite Rec Center on the way.
• Parking: available in the neighborhood around the start location.
• Rain: postpones the hike

Liability: The organizer is an unpaid and untrained volunteer and is not liable for any loss, damage, or injuries sustained by participants and their guests. By joining this event, each member and their guest accepts full responsibility for knowing their abilities and limitations and releases the host/organizer from any and all injuries, health issues, material losses and getting lost. Each member shall make their guests aware of these policies and release the host from all liability.
