NOTE: DUE TO LOTS OF IRRITATING POISON OAK ON PART OF THE TRAIL, WE WILL WALK UP THE WET CREEK TO THE WATERFALL. BRING HIKING POLES.
This is a very special place for me. It is the first place I hiked over 40 years ago. It is the main reason I did not graduate college the first time around....
It is also the only outdoors place I have done the horizontal bop, if you catch my drift. We will see a waterfall and rocks and a cave, all of which have featured in my mischief over the years.
LENGTH: about 4 miles. Elevation gain is about 300 feet. Some poison oak to look out for. Creek crossings will be wet. Bring shoes you can get wet...

DIFFICULTY: Pretty easy for the first mile: Here we will start at the condos of Palisades Highlands, cruise through the shady oak-filled canyon with several creek crossings. We will then hike to the big waterfall. Then we will backtrack and check out a cave that holds 5 people comfortably, then climb to the top of the ridge above the cave, to some very special rocks (wink wink).
THE USUAL STUFF: BRING ALL THE USUAL STUFF, I'M NOT YOUR MOM.... Bring clothing (sorry, nude hikes are a different Meetup group), lots of water, hat, comfy shoes, snacks, all your troubles..., guitar, camera, etc
