Urban Hike - Griffith Park and Los Feliz

We will mix trail hiking and urban walking as we start in Griffith Park on trails and roads (including a visit to Cedar Grove). Then we transition to urban exploration down from the park through Los Feliz (including Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis House, the commercial district of Los Feliz Village, the Shakespeare Bridge and some interesting Disney history) before we loop back to our starting point in the park.

• Level: Intermediate
• Speed: average 2.5 miles per hour
• Distance: 7.5 miles
• Elevation gain: ~1200 feet
• Duration: ~3.5 hours total (including breaks)
• Bathrooms: restrooms at the start and again before we leave the park as needed.
• Parking: lot available at the Southern Railroad and Pony Ride
• Rain: postpones the hike

By joining this event, each member and their guest accepts full responsibility for knowing their abilities and limitations and releases the host/organizer from any and all injuries, health issues, material losses and getting lost. Each member shall make their guests aware of these policies and release the host from all liability.
